Parker and Parker Consulting, Inc. is owned by Ron and Yvonne Parker. For the last twenty-eight years, Dr. Ronald K. Parker has been active in art publishing and gallery ownership. He is past president of two NASDAQ listed art companies (Circle Fine Art and Dyansen) and owner of Redding Fine Art (Erte Sculpture and Objects of Art) and Sculpture Group Limited (publishers of Hart, Neiman, Gallo and deWeldon). He was also the publishing force and marketing muscle behind Alexandra Nechita’s meteoric rise from child prodigy to international art phenomenon. Dr. Parker also owned one gallery in Newport, Rhode Island; a gallery in Paris; and two in New York City (Ron’s career).

In 1990, Ron met Yvonne at the Basel Art Fair in Switzerland. Living up to his reputation as the “Sultan of Sales,” he had found the ultimate sales challenge – selling himself to Yvonne! This international courtship (Paris, Puerto Vallarta, Berlin, Maui and New York) lasted nine months and culminated in their engagement at his Newport chateau called “The Orchard.”

Prior to working in the art world, Yvonne worked as a fashion model in
Europe and America. After representing various artists in Europe, Yvonne and Ron married at their villa, “The Vantine,” in Milford, Pennsylvania in 1993. Wanting to expand beyond Ron’s art world, Yvonne studied interior design at the New York School of Interior Design. Dividing their time between New York and Milford, Yvonne’s design business has evolved very successfully. The Parkers bought fourteen homes and nine condos in NYC, PA and FL for Yvonne to renovate and design for either rental or sales (www.parkerplaces.com). She earned her stars when she gutted and rebuilt a

6,420 sq. ft. nunnery and transformed it into a one-of-a-kind trophy property called “The Pointe,” at the exact confluence of the Delaware and Lackawaxen rivers in PA. Yvonne’s most ambitious project to date is to transform a 100+ year-old brick silk mill (33,000 sq. ft.) into live/work lofts.

The couple divides their time between PA and FL (West Palm Beach) where their passion remains art and design.

The Parkers are also both artists. Ron sculpts, paints and draws. His mixed media works are wildly collected (Ron’s art). Yvonne grew up in a family of artists. Her father was a successful water colorist in Europe, and her brother continues to exhibit his paintings and sculptures. Yvonne excels at mixed media – painting, collage and decoupage (Yvonne’s art). The Parkers are known for their collaborations on ceramic plates, on which Ron creates the initial drawing and Yvonne is the colorist.
